RFC 2397

This RFC allow to put base64 encoded data in a html file. Here is an example with an image. Unfortunatly this feature is not widely supported. Of course it do not work in Internet Explorer and work Firefox. For others, I don’t know.

Here is an example of html code using the 2397 RFC:

    <IMG alt=
"You cannot see this image because your browser do not support RFC2397 (
http://www.ietf.org/rfc/rfc2397.txt). Firefox (http://www.mozilla.org) does."
SRC="data:image/gif;base64,
iVBORw0KGgoAAAANSUhEUgAAAoAAAAFhCAYAAADgPRuZAAAgAElEQVR42uy9e6wl2XXe91tr711V
...

AAAASUVORK5CYII=
"/>

I used this encoder to create the example: http://www.motobit.com/util/base64-decoder-encoder.asp.
